Rohm has expanded its range of EROM (Embeddable BCI-ROM) models for PSR series shunt resistors to include models for the PMR series and made them available on its website. The new models are included as standard in Simcenter Flotherm, Siemens‘ simulator for thermal analysis of electronics.
The EROM models achieve high accuracy for both surface temperature (Delta T) and thermal resistance, with a measurement deviation of ±5%. They enable thermal analyses that closely approximate actual operating conditions.
Thanks to their standard integration in Flotherm, the models also facilitate the exchange of thermal analysis data between component and system manufacturers. This enables highly accurate and efficient simulations while maintaining the confidentiality of protected information. (jr)
