Vector is presenting its comprehensive approach to the development of software-defined vehicles (SDV) at the IAA MOBILITY 2025. As part of an SDV tour, the company will show how concepts of software-defined mobility can be translated into concrete solutions.
The demonstration illustrates how Vector accelerates and simplifies SDV development for customers. The core of the approach is a holistic solution that ranges from zonal E/E and software architecture to cloud-native development environments and test and validation methods. Among other things, it shows how modern architectures decouple hardware and software and thus enable smooth over-the-air updates.
Another focus is on the integration of driver assistance functions in automated software factories. CI/CD pipelines allow applications to be developed, tested and generated as software packages. Validation is carried out with hardware-in-the-loop and software-in-the-loop systems before the functions are transferred to the vehicle platform via over-the-air updates. This process can be scaled from individual vehicles to entire fleets. (oe)
