Softing: Autonomous vehicle diagnostic tester

Typical use of VINING 2000 PDX in flash actions © Softing

As a compact, self-sufficient interface for vehicle communication with an integrated diagnostic tester, the VINING 2000 PDX interface from Softing offers a simple and uncomplicated diagnostic solution that does not require a PC. The range of applications extends from status checks on the integration board and programming vehicles after production to diagnostic tests in road tests or ECU updates in the field.

Specially designed for inexperienced users without in-depth diagnostic knowledge, the predefined programming sequence, which can be controlled via RGB LEDs, starts automatically after connection to the OBD socket. This simplifies complex procedures such as parking lot flash actions or software updates in the field, while eliminating the need for more elaborate, complex PC-based methods.

The strength of the VINNG 2000 PDX is particularly evident in its ability to perform diagnostic tests on-the-fly. By integrating OTX sequences, specific diagnostic routines can also be adapted and executed, the results of which can be easily documented and archived. This automatic execution of predefined sequences represents a high degree of flexibility in the efficient and qualitative execution of vehicle tests. (jr)
