Bosch has undergone a leadership change in its Power Semiconductors and Modules business unit. Effective July 1, 2026, René Hartke (pictured right) took over as head of the business unit from Ralf Bornefeld. Bornefeld will continue to serve the company as an executive advisor until his retirement at the end of the year.
René Hartke, a long-time Bosch manager, is now taking over responsibility for the business unit. Bornefeld highlighted Hartke’s technical expertise and his many years of experience in the field of power semiconductors, and expressed his confidence that the business unit is well-positioned for its next stages of growth. Hartke previously served as Head of Engineering Power Modules at Bosch. (oe)
