Vector Informatik is expanding its portfolio of intelligent development tools and, with the CAPL AI Assistant, is providing AI-supported assistance for working with CAPL for the first time. The beta version of the assistant is available now. Developers are invited to actively participate in the further development of the new tool. The goal of the assistant is to simplify typical processes, increase productivity, and make CAPL workflows more efficient overall.
CAPL scripts are a key tool for test automation, simulation, and diagnostics. At the same time, many users find it difficult to get started—whether due to the complexity of the tasks, limited time, or lack of experience. This is exactly where the CAPL AI Assistant comes in.
Instead of building CAPL code step by step yourself, a brief description of the planned procedure is sufficient. The wizard then generates immediately usable, clearly structured, and easy-to-understand CAPL code tailored to the specific application. It imparts best practices, facilitates access to the CAPL world, and supports both beginners and experienced users. Direct integration into the CANoe environment keeps the focus on the actual project—not on programming.
Participation in the beta program is free of charge. Interested parties can register as pilot customers using an online form. If participation is not possible, there is the option to sign up for future updates by checking the corresponding box on the form. (oe)
