Automotive supplier Huf Hülsbeck & Fürst is driving the standardization of digital vehicle access systems. As part of the Car Connectivity Consortium (CCC), Huf has unveiled a concept for a universal hardware token designed to enable digital vehicle keys to be used across various applications and vehicle brands in the future.

The goal is to create a vendor-neutral, secure ecosystem with clearly defined requirements for certification, interoperability, and access management. Together with automakers such as BMW, Volkswagen, and Jaguar Land Rover, Huf is working within the CCC to further develop these standards.(oe)
