Change of leadership at Harman: Christian Sobottka becomes new CEO

Harman International announced that Michael Mauser will step down as President and Chief Executive Officer effective March 31, 2025. The Board of Directors has unanimously appointed Christian Sobottka, currently President of Harman’s Automotive Division, to succeed him as President and CEO, effective April 1, 2025. Sobottka has more than 25 years of international experience in the automotive industry. Since taking office as President of Harman’s Automotive Division in January 2021, he has successfully aligned the company towards a product- and software-centric business model. Prior to joining Harman, he was a senior executive at Bosch. (oe)
