The Adecco Group has appointed Jo Debecker as President of Akkodis and member of the Group Executive Committee. He will assume the position on April 22, 2025.
Debecker has extensive experience in global technology services. Most recently, he led Wipro’s FullStride business and was a member of Wipro’s Executive Board. There he was responsible for the direction of the business unit and achieved a turnover of USD 5 billion, among other things by expanding offshoring structures. Prior to that, he held senior positions in several international technology services companies.
With his move to Akkodis, Jo Debecker succeeds Dr. Jan Gupta, who is leaving the company after six years. Jan Gupta was instrumental in the integration of AKKA and Modis and the structuring of Modis as an independent business unit. Jo Debecker is a Belgian and Swiss citizen and holds a Master’s degree in Finance and Computer Science from the University of Leuven in Belgium. (oe)
