The organizers of ELIV 2026 (Electronics in Vehicles) have released the program for the international technical conference. The focus is on current developments in AI-powered vehicles, software-defined vehicles (SDV), E/E architectures, semiconductor technologies, cybersecurity, and automated driving. Technical presentations, panel discussions, and user case studies will shed light on technological trends and their impact on future vehicle development.
Among the program highlights are two Automotive Trend Sessions. The session “India – Tech & Market” focuses on India’s growing importance as a hub for development and innovation in the automotive industry. Experts will discuss market trends, AI-based mobility solutions, and the country’s increasing role in global vehicle development.
Another highlight is the “Automotive AI” trend session, which focuses on the use of artificial intelligence throughout the entire vehicle life cycle. Topics include AI-supported vehicle development, driver assistance systems, AI ecosystems, and issues related to governance and the safe use of AI technologies. Participants can attend the VDI conference “Mobile Machines Electronics” free of charge in parallel with ELIV. The parallel conference focuses on the next step in autonomous mobile machines: fully automated work processes supported by intelligent sensors and AI. (oe)
